Windows mail can t send

Select Privacy. On the left, scroll down to App permissions and select Calendar. Make sure Allow apps to access your calendar is turned On , and Mail and Calendar are On , allowed to access the calendar. If your mail provider is any of the following, Windows manages these settings for you, and you will not be able to edit them directly; it is safe to skip this step.

Your email address ends with yahoo. If you are not sure of your mail server settings, it's best to contact your mail provider before making any changes to these settings, or continuing with this guide. Select Accounts. Select Sync your settings on the left, and turn Off Sync settings.

Restart your computer. Select the Start menu , then select Power. Windows will ask permission to run PowerShell to make changes. Select Yes. PowerShell will open, and ask for a command. Your PowerShell may look slightly different, such as slightly different color based on your color scheme or some slightly different text; this is normal, and it will vary from system to system.

It will take 15 to 20 minutes to run this command, do not close the PowerShell window or turn off your computer. Make sure you are connected to the Internet before beginning these steps. Any mail stored on your computer and not on your mail services server will be lost.

If this is not acceptable, stop and do not proceed; instead, contact your mail service provider for further assistance first. Upon reinstalling Windows Mail, you will need to re-set your email settings. Be absolutely sure you know your Username, Password, and service information before performing this step! The Windows Mail program is "special", and considered an integral part of Windows 10; it cannot be removed using normal means.

Verify all usernames and passwords. Another small mistake that happens usually, so doublecheck your login details. Check your SMTP server connection.

Now this is trickier: even if your SMTP details are correct, the server itself can be down or not functioning for some reason. Change your SMTP port. In the Mail app, open the gear icon at the bottom of the window Click Manage accounts Select that troubled account then delete it Restart your computer Open Mail, then add the account again.

You are welcome. Happy to know you got it sorted. In reply to Andre Da Costa's post on January 18, Steps to resolve the issue without Office 1. Disable Windows firewall in all networks 2. Repair store cache using troubleshooting app 3.

Reboot 4. Delete and re-add email account 5. Let us know if this helps! PowerShell is a great tool, but most users don't have the experience of using the command line and will definitely have concerns about applying this pleat. But it can definitely cause repair! Thank you. An even simple way to connect your PC to the Windows 10 app is to check your Google Account to see if your PC is on the list of trusted devices and that you've given full access permissions for Windows 10 because one of the updates might have affected those permissions for that particular account that isn't working well for you!

After a deeper thought, if the application supports the other accounts well, it may be due to those restrictions that are probably on the google sites. I tried this and re-tried all the aforementioned actions again, but it didn't work.

I still can't send e-mails from a Gmail account on the app, although I can normally send them through other non-Gmail accounts on the app. The non-sent e-mails go to the "e-mail outbox" on the app and to the "draft box" on Gmail website, although they appear the formatting is all messed up on the site with spaces added between each letter.

After I did a new reset on the app, I started adding my e-mail accounts. I first added the "hotmail" account without any problems. But when I tried to add the gmail, there was error 0x I followed the online steps to solve it, and it was solved: the gmail account was added. However, the problem sending e-mails away persisted. I checked it and it got all permissions, as far as I checked. Another thing: After I did a new reset on the app, I started adding my e-mail accounts.

I still have a query whether on another computer are the same problems with this one account or not tried on another device? Well - System! Please check in the settings - Language -keyboard-set permission to enter by different methods! I think there is a problem with entering characters in this application because it does not send correctly! I think is not that because I can send out e-mails normally with non-gmail accounts outlook, office, yahoo with the app.
